| | | | | | Government support and Oxford's funding arrangements for 2013/14 | In 2013/14 the government will increase the maximum level of maintenance grant available to students from lower income households in line with inflation. Meanwhile, maximum tuition fees, tuition fee loans, maintenance loans and other supplementary grants will remain capped at 2012/13 levels. Oxford will confirm its 2013/14 funding arrangements in late May 2012, subject to approval by the Office for Fair Access in July 2012. | | | | | | Changes to Undergraduate application test arrangements Please note that, for students applying this October to join us in 2013, we are making changes to our test arrangements in response to feedback from schools and colleges. | To simplify the process all candidates will need to be registered with Cambridge Assessment for any of our pre-interview tests taking place on 7 November 2012. The sole exception is the LNAT for Law, as candidates themselves register directly with LNAT to take this test.
Other changes include the introduction of the Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA) for candidates applying to study Geography. Some Oriental Studies courses will also require candidates to take an aptitude test on 7 November, rather than in December, as last year.
Please note that students are no longer automatically registered for any of our tests.
