1. The Quality of Education

• Getting in line with international standards
Since 1991, the nine Chinese universities recruited MBA students, till now, more than 150 Chinese universities have been accredited to award MBA degrees. At the same time, the education philosophy and teaching method, such as inviting world-renowned professors and managers, cooperating with enterprises, case studying in the class, & teaching in English language, are getting in line with international standards. Students can make full contact with the world-class management concepts and the latest success cases, to maintain the actual competitiveness.

• "China's" MBA managers
With the development of the Chinese economy, the MBA programs in China also present their own characteristics: comprehensively training the "China's" MBA managers. Life-wide learning Chinese history, culture, politics, economy, knowledge and understanding of the Chinese domestic market, the best choice is to enter the Chinese domestic business school.

• Accreditation
Till to 2012, there are about 20 Chinese business school get accredited by AACSB, EQUIS, or AMBA. Shanghai Jiao Tong University (IMBA) receives triple accreditation, which has become one of the world-class business schools.

As we all know, the high quality and popularity of MBA education in US and UK, is closely related to their economic scale in the world.

By 2010, China became the world's second largest economy; more than 70% of Fortune 500 companies stationed in China. Shanghai, Hong Kong became one of the world's financial centers.

3. The International Alumni

In selecting a business school, it is important to choose both your professor & future students. Someone says, the key difference between top business schools and normal ones are the the quality of students. That is because a large part of the MBA education is accomplished through the students' exchanges and cooperation.

Along with the increasingly rapid internationalization of the MBA education in China, the forms of students constitute more and more attention. As the business managers are eclectic, not experts, everyone should brought a diversity of knowledge. There are 30% international students in the business schools in US, and there are over 30% international students in the business schools in China, reaching the top level in the world.

Remark: AACSB, EQUIS, AMBA are the three largest and most influential business school accreditation associations:

  1. AACSB - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business
  2. AMBA - The Association of MBA
  3. EQUIS - European Quality Improvement System

Among these three accreditations, AACSB accreditation needs 5-7 years; EQUIS accreditation needs 1-2 years; AMBA accreditation needs several months.

Those schools which receive the AACSB accreditation can be said the good business schools in the world. And the schools which receive triple accreditation are the top business schools.

The service fee will be raised for 5 Universities

The application process is extremely complicated for 5 universities; they are Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Tongji University and Xiamen University. To guarantee CUCAS service quality, the service fee for the 5 universities will be raised to $135. The service fee adjusting will be carried out on June 1st 2012. And CUCAS service fee $ 50 for previous submitted applications for the 5 universities will not change.
