BBC and Oxford University Press project identifies children's language needs

In an exciting collaboration with BBC Radio 2's Chris Evans’ Breakfast Show, the children’s dictionaries team at Oxford University Press has analysed the 70,075 entries in the show’s ‘500 Words Competition’. The findings help us to understand the words children are using as well as the areas they need more support with – especially when it comes to spelling, punctuation and grammar. For more information see the BBC website.
