| | We are less than 24 hours away from Jake Herbert's day of competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Herbert received his draw today and will face Cuba's Daniel Humberto tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. CT. Coaches Pariano and Cysewski are now in London and saw a gold-medal performance from the USA's Jordan Burroughs today at 74 kg. Pariano wrote his first blog from across the pond where he talks about what the energy is like in the ExCeL Center and all the large group of Jake Herbert supporters currently over in London. Here's a brief look at blog No. 4: The atmosphere in the ExCeL Center was second-to-none today. We had a lot of the US group with us including our very own Jason Welch and his father. Watching the Olympic quarterfinals and semifinals while sitting next to Jason Welch and his dad (John) was a great experience. We were able to watch Jordan Burroughs wrestle Canadian Matt Gentry (2004 NCAA Champion) in a hard-fought match and see Burroughs qualify for the gold-medal match at 74 kg. Although Jake was busy preparing for his own day, I am sure that the US results will get him excited. Click here to read the rest of Pariano's fourth blog entry.
