The Chinese universities' admission for 2012 fall intake has stepped into a peak stage. In order to help you complete your application better & faster, this week's newsletter will focus on the international enrollment in China, such as how to study in China, how to apply for Chinese universities, how to prepare your study, and what CUCAS will serve you, etc.

After complete the study abroad plan, some of the students will choose to apply for the universities by theirselves, or ask for Chinese friends' help; and some of the students will choose an agency. Now CUCAS will explain you the pros and cons of these application methods, and tell you how to find a rightful agency, how to save your money, and how to ensure your success.

Please carefully read the following instructions, if you want to be enrolled in a Chinese university in this autumn, but have not started or submitted your application:

  • Students who thinks it is not late:
    2012 fall intake admission has stepped into a peak stage. Considering your preparing time, school processing time, etc, CUCAS suggests you to start your application ASAP, so as we can submit your application materials before the deadlines. If you need any help, please contact service@cucas.cn.
  • Student who is waiting for some application materials:
    CUCAS suggests you to start your application ASAP, so as we can submit your application materials before the deadlines. The missing materials can be accomplished later. Please send your problems through email to service@cucas.cn, for better service and more advice.
  • Student who cannot make payment on the internet:
    CUCAS offers multiple payment methods, such as PAYPAL, PAYEASE (credit card payment online), Western Union, and Bank Transfer. If you cannot make payment on the internet, and have to use Western Union or Bank Transfer, you need to pay as early as you can, because of the delay of transferring time.
  • Student who has no internet access:
    CUCAS offers you offline application method. Please send your request to service@cucas.cn. You will receive a prompt, accurate, and professional response.
  • Student who has multiple choice (different study location):
    In order to avoid the delay of your study abroad plan, CUCAS suggest you to try your best in all the ways, start the plan of study in China. If you need any help, please contact service@cucas.cn.

Tips for Applying Students

Please carefully read the following instructions:

  • Student whose application is being processed:
    CUCAS reminds you: check your email every day, and make your mobile phone be turned on, so as to receive the latest notice and application status, pay the required fees in time, and confirm the important information such as mailing address, etc. You can also contact CUCAS via: admission1@cucas.cn.
  • Student whose application is returned:
    CUCAS reminds you: modify and re-submit your application as soon as possible, or contact CUCAS via: admission1@cucas.cn.
  • Student whose application is more than one:
    Please check your email every day, or login CUCAS to check your application status, pay the required fees in time, and confirm the important information such as mailing address, etc.
  • Student whose program is ready to start:
    CUCAS suggests you apply for a tourist visa if possible. Meantime, please contact us through email or telephone, for better service and more advice.

Tips for Successful Students

Please carefully read the following instructions:

  • Student who has been accepted but not received admission package:
    You can contact CUCAS and ask for your e-offer, and then you will be able to enquire and prepare for your visa application at your local Chinese embassy. If you have to come to China with a tourist visa, please contact CUCAS in advance. Besides, you can start to apply for your accommodation.
  • Student who has been accepted by multi universities but not received admission package:
    You can contact CUCAS and ask for your e-offer, and then you will be able to enquire and prepare for your visa application at your local Chinese embassy. If you have to come to China with a tourist visa, please contact CUCAS in advance. Besides, please tell us your final decision of studying university, so as we can book your accommodation and make your ISIC card.
  • Student who has applied short-term program or program is ready to start:
    CUCAS suggests you apply for a tourist visa with your e-offer. You can also start to apply for your accommodation and pick-up service. Before your departure and after landing, you need to contact us as soon as you can, for better service, more help, and your free ISIC card.
  • Student who wants to book accommodation, pick-up or registration service:
    When your application status is "accepted", you can book your accommodation through CUCAS. If you applied for more than one school, only one university' s dorm can be reserved. To book accommodation online, you can visit "My CUCAS-> My Application", read your notification email or click here.
    Once your application status has been changed to "e-offer delivered", you can apply for CUCAS airport pick-up & registration service. To apply for this service, you can visit "My CUCAS-> My Application", read your notification email or click here.
