The first is a live question-and-answer session with Dr. Sheldon Feldman on What You Need to Know about Breast Cancer. This worldwide show will be held on June 6th at 12:00 PM ET on our Blog Talk Radio Channel

Then on June 18th, June 19th, and June 26th, the Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Interventions Vein Programs will be holding a free Friends and Family Vein Screening in our new mid-town Manhattan, Columbus Circle offices. Make an appointment for a free evaluation of varicose veins, spider veins, blood clots, and other signs of vein disease.

Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement as Good as Open Surgery, According to PARTNER Results

Approximately 300,000 patients in the United States have aortic stenosis (narrowing of the aortic heart valve), and about one third of these patients are too sick or too old to undergo surgical replacement. Under the leadership of NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital's Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) has been under study as a less invasive alternative for these patients.
